We’re looking forward to the grand opening celebration for the Portland Food Co-op on Wednesday, December 10. They’ve posted a schedule for the day on their website, including free treats, music and raffles.
We stopped in recently and were delighted to see so much organic and local produce. Be sure to see the big map at the door, showing locations and names of more than 50 local produce items from 13 Maine Farms—not to mention dairy, meat, wellness and other grocery items from Maine providers. Just a 5 minute walk from 118 on Munjoy Hill…they are beating us by opening now but will be so ready for when residents move in.
