A wood sculpture by local artist Lin Lisberger has been commissioned for the lobby of 118. Lin’s work first caught the eye of the developers when she had a solo exhibition at the Maine Jewish Museum just down the Hill on Congress St. Lin works as a wood carver and each sculpture is from a native wood. Themes include vessels, knots, bridges and ladders. Although the final design is yet to be confirmed, the creative process as seen in this image of Lin and some of her work is already very fun. Lin lives in the Munjoy Hill neighborhood where she also maintains her studio. Explore her work and resume at www.linlisberger.com.
