Ten of 12 residents have moved into 118 and the last two will settle in before the snow falls. Although there are only a dozen homes in 118, the diversity of the residents is amazing and refreshing. Ranging in age from early teens to late 70s, about half are in their 50s and 60s. Almost half are not married. Three of the new owners moved just a short distance from homes in the West End of Portland while three moved in from single family homes in the suburbs. Of the four residents who moved to Maine when they bought condos in 118, three already had family homes in the state. The fourth moved to Maine to accept a job. Five of the 12 residents have their own businesses. It is a fun and diverse group and all are enjoying the urban experience of Portland, the vibrant and friendly neighborhood of Munjoy Hill and the space, light and tranquility of their new homes.
