118 on Munjoy Hill was conceived to create a home that meets Chip’s and Susan’s personal desires and standards. Currently residents of Portland and Boothbay Harbor, they will live at 118.

Ed Theriault
President of TLA, a Portland-based architectural firm that focuses on the design and renovation of financial, healthcare, and educational facilities throughout New England. For decades, Ed has ensured that TLA imbues each project, large or small, with a high degree of professionalism and full attention to detail.
Ed is a longtime Munjoy Hill business owner with his office at 118 Congress Street. He will be relocating TLA in the Portland area once 118 is underway.
Ed is especially excited to launch the 118 on Munjoy Hill project, a labor of love in a spirited and eclectic neighborhood that mirrors the 118 team’s ethos of high quality, solid community and great design.
THE ARCHITECT
Archetype Architects
Archetype is among Portland’s most dynamic architectural firms. For 30 years, their creative vision has helped shape the built landscape of Portland and beyond. Their portfolio illustrates a diversified client list that includes players in the residential, commercial, retail and hospitality industries. Archetype was selected as the architect for 118 based on their signature design character and distinctive, high-quality approach. They only take on projects about which they have a passion and approach architecture as an exercise in creative problem solving.
Principal David Lloyd is a resident of Munjoy Hill and designed the trio of condominiums in which he resides along with John Ryan of Wright- Ryan.
THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT
Wright-Ryan Construction
Portland-based Wright-Ryan delivers construction services of the highest professional standard to clients throughout northern New England, including quality multi-family residences and custom homes. In 2014, the firm is celebrating its 30 year anniversary. Wright-Ryan was selected as the construction services firm for 118 on Munjoy Hill based on their deep commitment to quality and interest in sustainability. One result is that 118 will offer the latest energy-efficient features and will be built using state-of-the-art construction techniques.
President John Ryan lives on Munjoy Hill in a condominium building built by Wright-Ryan, and designed by David Lloyd of Archetype.
THE DESIGN ADVISOR
Ted Oldham
Ted brings extensive experience as an architect to 118 on Munjoy Hill. After a career designing projects of all types and sizes in the US and internationally, Ted now gives his time to the Historic Preservation Board of Portland, Greater Portland Landmarks, and the Maine Historical Society.
