Concrete foundation set

Pouring concrete before the rain pours. If you have not seen pouring take place before you will be amazed at the process. An operator remotely controls the pump truck to place the concrete in the forms. Crew members then work swiftly and strategically, using skilled finishing techniques to remove any air pockets and to smooth the surface of the concrete. The forms will be removed, leaving a solid foundation behind.

At 118, concrete will also be poured between each floor which—combined with double layers of drywall, reinforced sound mat and resilient hangers—will create the best floor-to-floor sound deadening results in Portland.

Stay tuned for more videos of the 118 construction process. We are proud to have Wright-Ryan Construction as our partners in determination and performance of the best building techniques.
